It started with something
I kept noticing.

So many photographers, planners, and creative business owners were doing beautiful, thoughtful work, but their websites did not always show that. The work was strong. The talent was there. The experience was there. But online, something felt a little unfinished, a little too generic, or just not quite at the level of what they were actually creating.

And honestly, I understood why. Most templates are built to work for a lot of people at once. That can be helpful, but it also means they are not really built around your work, your clients, your story, or the feeling your brand needs to create.

That is where Avellaine came from.

Hi, I'm Douglas.

Behind Avellaine, I am a creative, a builder, and someone who genuinely enjoys getting to know the people behind the work.

When I am not designing, I am a husband to my beautiful wife of 20 years and a father to three amazing kiddos who keep life full, funny, and meaningful. I love to travel, find great food, dress up way too much for Halloween, and laugh often with family and friends.

More than anything, I enjoy good conversation and learning the story behind what someone is building. I look forward to hearing about your work, understanding where you want to take it, and helping create a website that feels like it finally belongs to you.
